Gator Jawn | Umbrella & Pole
Upright Position FAQ
Q: My anchor cables loosened up. What do I do?
A: Loosen the wing nuts completely, push the pole down, lift the anchor up, and then tighten the wing nuts again.
Q: My adhesive pad rolled into itself when trying to adjust it. What do I do?A: Ensure that the adhesive pad is fully extended to the edge, or slightly beyond the edge of the insert or the anchor to ensure a proper fit.
Q: What if the winds shift and the umbrella falls over?
A: This is the built-in safety feature to prevent the umbrella from flying. Stand it back up into the wind and tighten cables.
Q: My umbrella still seems unstable. What should I check?
A: The anchor could be too low. Make sure it's installed 20-24 inches off the ground.

Sideways Position FAQ
Q: I used two anchor cables to secure my sideways position, but the umbrella still moves. What do I do?
A: Ensure the Gator Jawn is positioned correctly on the lower pole, as per Step 1 of the sideways setup. For stronger or variable winds, use the additional two ground stakes and cables in the opposite direction. See Step 6 for details.
Q: My sideways position feels weak or unstable. What should I check?
A: Your ground stakes might be too close to the pole. Spread them out to widen the angle. For maximum support, use all four stakes and form an "X" configuration with the cables.
